TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The activity of Camy Travel Advisor Lda., aims to sell services related to travel and tourism from providers of transport, accommodation and other services.
Camy Travel Advisor Lda.'s obligation is to make travel reservations and organize contracts between customers and providers of these services, not being responsible for failures in the provision of these services nor guaranteeing their quality standard.
All reservations are made subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of liability imposed by such service providers.
RESERVATIONS:
When booking, it is mandatory to send a copy of your passport for international flights, and a copy of your ID for domestic flights, as well as the passengers' telephone numbers and e-mails;
It is the responsibility of the passenger or applicant to check whether the details contained in the booking, such as name, surname, date and route of travel, are in accordance with what was requested before issuing the respective airline ticket;
Prior to ticket issuance, bookings made are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice by the carrier;
Fares are quoted per person unless otherwise stated and will only be guaranteed after ticket issuance;
The passenger must always check whether the fare at the time of payment for the ticket is the same as that in force at the time of issuing the quotation/reservation/proforma invoice, as these are subject to change by the airline at any time and without prior notice;
Once the booking has been made or the ticket has been issued, it is not possible to change the names of the passengers.
PROMOTIONAL FARES:
All promotional fares are subject to seat availability on the desired date and time;
The promotional price communicated will always remain as long as availability exists, so in the event of unavailability of seats at the promotional rate, it will depend exclusively on the flexibility that the customer may have to consider another date and time where there are still seats available at the desired promotional rate;
Some promotional fares do not allow date changes, seat reservations or refunds;
SEPARATE TICKETS:
When two or more travel tickets are issued separately to obtain lower fares, in case of delay or cancellation of the first flight/ticket, the airline will not be responsible for the next flight, nor will it incur hotel expenses or other related costs;
The airline will only provide protection to passengers who have consecutive tickets:
It is the passenger's responsibility to check that both tickets have the same baggage allowance, the possibility of direct check-in will always depend on the terms and conditions of the airline.
SPECIAL REQUESTS:
They must be requested at the time of booking, but please note that we cannot guarantee them;
Please provide us with details of your diet or any other special requests;
Camy Travel will not be held responsible for failure to fulfil any special requests.
SEAT RESERVATION:
Economy class seat reservations on almost all airlines are made on a paid basis and are subject to change without prior notice, for operational reasons of the airline.
BAGGAGE:
The passenger is responsible for ensuring that the fare requested has the baggage allowance in accordance with their travel needs upon receipt of the ticket “on the same day of issue”;
The loss, theft or misplacement of baggage is the sole responsibility of the airline, any related claim must be made and dealt with directly and exclusively with the carrier in question.
AIRPORT CHECK-IN:
Make sure you check in for domestic flights at least 2 hours before the departure time indicated on your ticket; and 3 hours before departure for all international flights;
We advise you to contact the airline to check for any last-minute changes in cases where you have connecting or return flights;
We advise passengers to check in online 24 hours before departure.
FLIGHT RECONFIRMATION AND DEPARTURE TIMES:
It is the passenger's responsibility to reconfirm their flights and check with the airline or their travel consultant for return flights at least 72 hours before each trip due to any changes in flight schedules. This is an essential requirement, regardless of what your airline informs you.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
The onus is on each passenger to check that all travel documents are in order, this includes passport validity (minimum 6 months and 3 blank pages), airline tickets, hotel vouchers, travel vouchers, travel insurance or any other document (whether in electronic or other form) used to confirm an agreement with the service provider;
Travel documents are subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions, which include (without limitation) that they are non-refundable, non-modifiable, or subject to cancellation or change of date fees;
All travel documents are personal and non-transferable;
It is mandatory for all visitors to Mozambique to have their passports stamped both when entering and leaving the country, please make sure your passport has been stamped.
VISA:
All matters related to entry/re-entry or transit visas, and/or travel authorization for unaccompanied minors, are the sole responsibility of the passenger or interested entity;
Regarding visas for Mozambique, you can purchase a double entry tourist visa at most Mozambique entry borders;
As of May 1, 2023, the Mozambican Government has granted visa exemptions to 29 countries;
The new Visa Regime was published on February 22, 2024;
For more information about the new eVisa system (including required documentation) and visas from exempt countries, ;
Some SADC member citizens are exempt from visas for Mozambique;
Travelers should check transportation conditions with their travel service provider, as some airlines may require presentation of a pre-approved visa prior to boarding;
To obtain the latest information on visas, you should contact the nearest High Commission of Mozambique;
Camy Travel assumes no responsibility for any consequences resulting from failure to comply with the necessary requirements.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
It is highly recommended that passengers traveling with Camy Travel purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers flight cancellations and delays, illness, lost luggage;
By reading these Terms and Conditions, it is assumed that the passenger has travel insurance.
HOTEL RESERVATION:
For hotel and tour packages reservations, a deposit of 20% of the total amount is required upon confirmation of the reservation, this amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation;
A 50% penalty will apply if cancellation is made less than 30 days before the scheduled start date of the program;
A 100% penalty will be applied if cancellation is made less than 15 days before the scheduled arrival date of the start of the program;
No refunds will be given for early departures or for guests/passengers who do not show up (No-Show);
Most providers impose strict restrictions in the event of a customer not showing up on the confirmed date without at least 48 hours’ notice;
Camy Travel Advisor reserves the right to cancel the services requested if payment is not made on the scheduled dates;
Rates exclude unspecified meals, telephone calls, internet, laundry, room service, mini-bar consumption, unspecified activities, gratuities, and all individual items;
Check-in at hotels is at 2pm and check-out is at 10am, unless otherwise indicated by the hotel;
It is mandatory for each passenger/guest to present valid documentation at check-in;
Any changes are subject to a review of costs, quotation and availability;
Camy Travel Advisor reserves the right to change the program to safeguard the comfort and safety of passengers/guests;
For group reservations, full payment must be made 30 days prior to the arrival date at the destination.
CAR RENTAL:
The driver must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the class of vehicle hired, meeting the requirements of the country where the vehicle is rented;
Provisional driving licences and permits or trainee drivers are not accepted, to rent a vehicle, the passenger must present a valid credit card, the credit card is required as a guarantee when collecting the vehicle.
The driver is subject to certain surcharges required in certain countries, such as: fuel, young driver, one-way fees, optional extras and cancellation fees;
If the rental vehicle is returned without a full tank of fuel, an additional refuelling fee will be charged;
It is advisable to check your vehicle rental contract to understand the applicable terms and conditions.
PAYMENTS:
Tickets will only be issued upon full payment or upon signing a credit agreement;
Payment by check or bank transfer of the travel ticket is only considered valid at the time of successful collection or confirmation of receipt of proof of payment by the consultant;
Any delay in confirming/sending proof of payment for the travel ticket using the methods indicated due to the customer's fault implies a risk of changes to the fares on the travel ticket at the time of its actual issuance.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, cash and credit card;
For bank transfer payment, please check that bank charges are on your account;
A 3% surcharge applies for credit card payment;
If payment has been made directly to the service provider any claim must be made to that provider and not to Camy Travel Advisor;
By making payment you confirm that you have received, read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
CANCELLATIONS:
Travel documents are always subject to the terms and conditions of sale and will not be refunded until they have been processed by the respective provider;
Cancelled reservations are subject to fees that can reach 100% of the cost of the reservation, regardless of whether the reservation was completed or not;
Fees apply in the event of changes to reservations or reissue of tickets;
We recommend that passengers cancel flight reservations at least 24 hours before departure with the respective airline;
Failure to cancel will result in a No Show, which will have its implications.
REFUNDS:
The ticket must be paid to Camy Travel Advisor regardless of the cancellation thereof;
It is the customer's responsibility to inform whether they wish to opt for a flexible fare that allows refund/change of date and/or change of route for travel tickets prior to purchasing the ticket, provided that the agency opts for the basic fare that does not allow such future changes;
In the case of a flexible fare, there is always a penalty to be paid in the event of a change to the initial conditions of the travel ticket, which varies according to the terms and conditions of each carrier.;
In the case of a refund, the carrier deducts the amount of the penalties applied and only the remainder is due;
The ticket must be paid in full and wait for the refund from the airline;
The agency charges 10% for refund processing;
The passenger must also be aware that there are fares that do not allow refunds and/or changes to dates, implying the total loss of the amount paid in the event of not making the trip on the scheduled dates and/or not cancelling the reservation in advance, in the event of withdrawal.
CIVIL LIABILITY:
Camy Travel Advisor Lda, when providing transport, hotel accommodation or any other service, acts only as an intermediary and not as a principal;
Not responsible for any unlawful acts, omissions, defects, injuries, accidents, death, loss, damage, theft, delay or inconvenience of any nature caused, during any trip, tour, hotel or other facility, organized or booked by Camy Travel Advisor Lda., due to negligence or any type of contractual obligation, carried out by third party providers over whom it does not exercise direct control, and there can be no exclusion of liability, it is limited to the value of the travel reservation purchased;
Camy Travel Advisor Lda. cannot be held responsible for any loss caused by force majeure, including damage due to delays before departure or during any trip, loss of luggage, damage to objects caused by any event beyond the control of the agency, technical difficulties, strikes, adverse weather conditions or any other foreseen/unforeseen circumstances.
AIRLINE RESPONSIBILITY:
The airline in question is not responsible for any act, omission or event during the period in which passengers are not on board its aircraft;
The passenger ticket in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of such tickets and/or passenger.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY:
It is the passenger's responsibility to check all necessary travel documents and visas before travel;
You should contact your consultant the day before and make sure that all travel documents have been handed over to you;
It is highly recommended to check that the name, surname, departure time, departure and return date and itinerary are correct at the time of booking, and you must check the ticket on the same day of issuance to avoid errors.
HEALTH:
It is the passenger's responsibility to inform themselves about any health requirements of their travel destination, and must also ensure that they have all the necessary vaccination documentation and the need to present the vaccination card;
If their physical condition so requires, the customer must ensure that they carry a sufficient quantity of any necessary medication with them and that this is always in hand luggage;
The customer must also consult the competent medical authorities before departure about the preventive clinical measures to be taken in relation to the countries they will visit.
INFECTIONS DISEASES:
Any passenger presenting symptoms of an infectious disease may be prevented from boarding by the captain, after consultation with medical personnel on the ground or the airline's medical support service.;
An infectious disease is suspected when a passenger presents one or more of the following signs and symptoms:
• Persistent cough
• requent sneezing
• Breathing difficulties
• Persistent diarrhea
• Persistent vomiting
• Skin rashes
• Abnormal bleeding
• Reduction of mental faculties
• noticeable discomfort
To avoid denied boarding due to an infectious disease, passengers who present symptoms of an infectious disease must provide, upon request, a medical certificate certifying that the passengers in question do not suffer from an infectious disease and that they can travel by air without endangering their health and the health of other passengers or crew members.
PREGNANCY:
A medical certificate indicating the expected date of delivery is required and adequate physical condition is required for travel;
the air carrier may refuse to allow pregnant passengers when air travel may involve risks to themselves or to the baby.
CHANGES:
Camy Travel Advisor Lda., reserves the right to charge a change fee to confirmed reservations, in addition to any cancellation charges that may be applicable.
ANTI-CORRUPTION:
Camy Travel Advisor, Lda., undertakes not to offer, directly or indirectly, advantages to third parties, promise or accept, for its own benefit or that of others, offers with the purpose of obtaining a favourable judgment on the services to be provided.
Please check that all documentation complies before your trip begins.
